The company was established in 1980 under the guidance of Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the late ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and since then Julphar has been delivering high quality, innovative and affordable healthcare solutions to families across the globe.Our business is centred around General Medicines in the retail pharmacy channel and hospitals as well as speciality Products, Our medicines target major therapeutic segments including Diabetes, Gastrointestinal Tract (GIT), Respiratory, Pain Management, Wounds and Scars, Anti-infectives, Anemia, Gynecology, Dermatology, Erectile Dysfunction and Cardiology.We employ around 3,400 people and distribute our products to more than 30 countries on five continents. Our 12 internationally accredited manufacturing facilities can produce up to half million boxes of medicine a day. In 2012, we became one of the world’s largest producers of insulin, driven by our advanced biotechnology facilities in the UAE.
