Union Coop was established under Ministerial Resolution No. 31/02 dated May 24, 1982, issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, with the objective of enhancing the social and economic well-being of its members and contributing to community development within its area of operation.
The Cooperative’s primary business activities include the establishment, management, and operation of hypermarkets, malls, and commercial centers across the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Union Coop stands as the largest consumer cooperative in the region, managing 30 branches and 9 shopping centers that embody innovative and modern retail concepts.
Furthermore, Union Coop has implemented the concept of smart shopping in a number of its branches, alongside a dedicated Customer Happiness Service that enhances the shopping experience.
